The Post on Lake Talon
Your Vacation Property
Your Vacation Property
This log cottage was originally a Post Office, operating in Eganville Ontario in the late 1800's that closed December 31, 1912.
In 1974, it was purchased by the Burns family who dismantled and meticulously reassembled it at its current site on Lake Talon along the historical Mattawa Voyageur Route
In 2020 we purchased this beautiful piece of history so that we could allow others to not only enjoy the cabin, but also experience the beauty of Lake Talon and all it has to offer.
